I have a!ways been Peter Temple's biggest fan and have read all of his books several times. 'Truth' , his last completed book, strikes me as being his most complex and difficult to read book. His writing is so laconic, with an inordinately high usage of Australianisms that make it more difficult for the non-Australian to read (a glossary is provided). There is also an overwhelming feeling of despair.
